Mattress Care Instruction

Old Mattress Disposal
The best way to dispose your old mattress is to check with the company that you purchased your new mattress from. Many offer a pick up service at a cost or you may take to a tip or leave for your hard rubbish collection, depending on your councils hard rubbish policy.

Mattress Foundation
To ensure your mattress is well cared for, we recommend that you place it on a supportive foundation. Bases, bed frames, or platform beds are all great options, as long as they are strong, supportive, and even. Older bases can sometimes lose their structure, so it's best to double-check and make sure your base is in good condition. If you use a bed frame, make sure the slats are strong, supportive, and evenly placed. This will help your mattress stay in great shape and prevent any sagging.

Rotating your Mattress
It is important to rotate and flip your mattress to extend its life and keep it comfortable. Most mattress manufacturers advise rotating your mattress at least once every two weeks for the first three months, and then once a month after that. If your mattress is a two-sided mattress, then it should also be flipped using the same principle. If your mattress has a ‘no-turn’ feature, then you may not need to rotate or flip it as often.

If you Must Clean your Mattress
Cleaning your mattress is an important part of keeping it in good condition. To ensure your mattress stays in good shape, it's best to use a vacuum to clean it. If you need to go beyond vacuuming, use a mild surface cleaner and a barely damp cloth as excessive moisture can cause mildew to form on the upholstery. Be sure not to soak or wet your mattress.

Use a Mattress Protector
Using a mattress protector is a great way to keep your mattress looking and feeling like new. Not only will it protect your mattress from dirt, spills, and dust, but it will also help to extend the life of your mattress. So make sure to get a mattress protector today, and enjoy many years of comfortable sleep!

Expect Body Impressions
We understand that body impressions are something that can naturally form in a mattress over time, especially in ultra soft and plush products. However, we must stress that any product care and advice we offer is to be followed at the sole responsibility of the owner.
